More often than not, you can’t fix it in post.

A lesson I learned while shooting video for commercials. If I didn’t get the shot I wanted, or if there was a lens flare in the background, or if the audio had a bit of crackle to it, it’s far better to grab a safety shot than it is to try and fix it during the production process. Even with modern-day AI assistance, some things just can’t be cheaply fixed once the cameras have been packed up and the talent has gone home.
