Rule #29

Always pay attention to changing trends.

The 1980s prophet Ferris Bueller famously said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” In marketing and design, this couldn’t be more true.

Trends come and go in a flash, and as a professional, you need to strike the right balance—knowing when to embrace the latest styles and when to craft strategies that stand the test of time. Not every trend is worth chasing, and the best marketing decisions come from understanding which ones will add value and which are just fleeting distractions.
